Plastic recycling initiative launched in Visakhapatnam
Develop Responsible Outlook for Plastic (DROP), a CRS initiative of a private organisations, was launched here on Wednesday. As part of the 11-month project, 200 workshops on waste management will be organised for the schools, college and resident welfare associations in Visakhapatnam.

This initiative aims at changing the outlook of consumers towards waste and increasing the segregation rate, which will result in increased material recovery and recycling. Jute bags, wooden toothbrushes and wooden combs were distributed to all participants on the occasion.
